WHAT IS HEALTH COACHING?

Health Coaching is a rapidly growing profession. It provides the rare opportunity for you to explore your health and wellness goals and to get real-time feedback and support on them. Too often when we seek out professional advice about our health we are met with a long wait time at a doctor's office, just a few minutes with the doctor, and very little information about prevention and healthy lifestyles.

Success stories from integrative health practices show that a common denominator for improved health can often boil down to someone taking the time to listen, really listen. Coaches are trained to listen and ask exploratory questions to help you find the answers you need. No one else is better qualified than yourself to figure out how to improve and sustain your health. Coaches are also trained to draw from evidence-based approaches and strategies to help you adopt and sustain lifestyle changes.

APPROACH

My approach to coaching takes a holistic look at what is going on in your life. Together we dig deep and identify root causes for your stress or health condition. We then work to implement new strategies, solutions, and ways of thinking to address these issues.


Having trained with the leading professionals in the fields of nutrition, functional medicine, exercise science, mindfulness, and positive psychology, I am able to seamlessly draw upon a wealth of evidence-based concepts, tools, and resources to help further our exploration depending on the topic at hand.
